During the ‘Nacht und Nebel’ Festival this Saturday we celebrated the exibition “Unbound” and the opening of the cafe at Agora Collective. The exhibition space was crowded, full of creatives and interesting people from all over the world, most of them now living in Berlin….
We saw some nice artworks from Dylan Aiello, Shuah Brotherton, Jessica Cooke, Deeqa Ismail, Abigail Liparotto, Pedro Jardim, Bia Paiva, Sacha Molnar, Antonio Sobral, Caique Tizzi, Petra Valdimarsdóttir, Gabrielle Lockwood-Estrin und André Uerba. There was also a nice dance and music performance happening by Wror.
The artworks exhibited at this opening, were created together in a workshop at Agora. The main concept for this show was born after giving two workshops in the space on artists books organised by Deeqa, a young curator from London. The artists who participated produced their own artists books in response to the book form in very different ways and solutions.
The Exhibition is still running until the end of the week (13. Nov), so take your chance to visit Agora and ARTCONNECT BERLIN at Mittelweg 50 in Berlin Neukölln! And before I forget, Agora’s Team is proud to announce the opening of their brand new café!
From now on you can enjoy to have a coffee at the relaxing atmosphere in Agora. The Agora Café is open daily from 10am – 6pm!
