Monday Opportunity: Apply for the Blooom Award

This Monday we’ve got a very special opportunity for ya! Up until the 31st of July 2014, creatives from all over the world have the chance to show off their skills and apply for the Blooom Award at www.blooomaward.com. After the application period, a five-member jury will select the ten best works among all submitted applications. Last year 1,125 creatives from 55 countries applied for the BLOOOM Award by WARSTEINER, which has committed to active fostering of artistic talents.

Berlin Art Prize is back for 2014! The independent award, which annually honours contemporary art from Berlin, aims to support the city’s artists by establishing a non-institutional prize awarded by a jury of local art professionals. Each artist is evaluated anonymously, with the jury only taking artistic ability into consideration. Berlin Art Prize winners are honoured with a group exhibition, an accompanying catalogue, a residency, prize money, and a trophy.
