Marian Nowinski is a painter, designer, author of posters, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and professor and dean of the Visual Art and Design Faculty at the Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology in Warsaw.
Twice awarded a scholarship by the Italian Government. Member of the jury of national and international competitions, commissioner of exhibitions and workshops of painters. Creator of the Theatre of One Sign (TJZ). Author of many albums, books and multimedia publications, as well as art projects for the UN and the EU, and designer of over 200 posters.
He will be showing his work from this Thursday until the end of December and I will be there to see it.
Druck Berlin is set to become the world’s largest ever art festival for silk screen printing. They’re bringing together a selection of the very best printers from all over Europe and a host of internationally renowned artists for three weeks of live printing, exhibitions and workshops.
Druck Berlin will take place at the Stattbad in Berlin from December 6th – 22nd. It is organised by Mother Drucker, Open- walls Gallery and Stattbad collectively.

The people from BC Gallery are proud to present Wood Hood, a solo show by Berlin based Low Bros. From December 7th to February 8th, the gallery will show brand new works by the brothers Florin and Christoph Schmidt.
The interrogation rooms of the Stasi Central Remand Prison in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen are the once-current reality of the imaginations of Franz Kafka: German Gemütlichkeit, rigor and fathomlessness.
You will be given the opportunity to become familiar with the history of this site and will learn how the comfortable interior spaces became weapons of torture for the political prisoners held there.
And a week later you will have a special permit to photograph within these rooms in an unlimited manner. Along with light painting approaches we will be taught special flash techniques.
